Digital product terms & privacy

Plain-language summary: You are buying an instant digital download for use by one individual or organization. You may adapt it for your repositories, but may not resell or redistribute it. The materials are general technical starting points, not professional advice or a security guarantee.

Digital delivery

Payment provides immediate access to a downloadable ZIP file. A backup copy is also sent automatically to the email address supplied at checkout. No physical item is shipped and no subscription is created.

License

Your purchase grants one individual or one organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to copy, modify, and use the files in repositories the purchaser owns or controls. You may not resell, share publicly, sublicense, publish, redistribute, or use the materials to create a competing template or kit. Contractors working solely for the licensed organization may use adapted copies only for that organization's repositories.

Technical disclaimer

The scanner and downloadable materials provide general technical starting points. They are not legal, security, compliance, or other professional advice; do not constitute a penetration test or certification; and do not guarantee that an agent, repository, system, or organization is secure. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, adapting, and operating every control.

Refunds

Because the complete digital product is made available immediately after payment, purchases are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Duplicate charges and verified technical non-delivery may be reviewed through the payment processor's dispute and resolution mechanisms.

Scanner privacy

The free scanner reads selected files locally in browser JavaScript. It has no upload step, sends no file contents to BurnRate, and stores no scan data. Normal web infrastructure may still process standard request information when the page itself loads, such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp.

Checkout privacy

Stripe processes checkout and payment information under its own privacy terms. We receive the buyer email address and transaction details needed to confirm payment, deliver the product, prevent fraud, and maintain financial records. Payment-card details are not stored on this site. We do not sell personal information.

Changes

These terms may be updated for future purchases. The terms displayed when a purchase is made govern that transaction.
