Notes

CLI Installs (pings) — the most accurate metric. Counts unique devices that actually ran burnrate. Deduped by device hash (hostname + home dir SHA-256). Updates on each new version.

GitHub Downloads — counts direct binary downloads from GitHub Releases. Not unique (bots, CI, retries inflate this).

Homebrew Installs — pulled from Homebrew's public analytics API (90-day window). Only available for taps with sufficient volume. Shows 0 if the tap isn't tracked yet.
